America: Past Present and Future - Part 3

The Future: The Antichrist will rule

No one doubts the superiority of America in these times. But many will not believe that it was the will of God that America became great as it is still today. But there will come a time that America shall be by ruled by a cruel master. That will be the most difficult times the Americans will ever face. But what will surprise many is that everything has been foretold by the Bible. This should served as a guide by those who fear God not to lose trust in Him. However let no anyone get confused or think that the future great fall of America is due to biblical predestination. God is all-knowing, all-present, past, present and future. The future is already written because He was in the future, knew everything and He wrote through the prophets what He had known and seen into the future. So it is not the past that determines the future but it is always our own doing that our failures happen.

For example, The Book of Ezekiel has so much information about America's future. No other nation except Israel (Europe) and Judah (Israel) whose future been written so much about. Turning now to Ezekiel 32:1-2

1 In the twelfth year, in the twelfth month on the first day, the word of the LORD came to me: 2 "Son of man, take up a lament concerning Pharaoh king of Egypt and say to him:
"'You are like a lion among the nations; you are like a monster in the seas thrashing about in your streams, churning the water with your feet and muddying the streams.

American presidents are called pharaohs in the Bible being the descendants of Manasseh—half Egyptian, half-Hebrew, a recipient of physical blessings from his grandfather, Jacob. It's not hard to understand the passage above, America being the naval superpower of the world. Ancient Egypt was not really known as a naval power in the Middle East. This prophecy is for the modern Egypt, America. However many are saying these days, America is hardly the country anymore that trusts in the Lord. It was founded on the motto, "In God We Trust" minted on every quarter coin and sang with the anthem "Star Spangled Banner."

A warning to all nations not to rely on Egypt
America, the modern Egypt is so dominant in all fronts to become a global power. When the USSR seemed close to challenging that supremacy, that group of nations disintegrated two decades ago. No one knew but that was all God's will in order to fulfill God's promise to Abraham. Nevertheless, no one should rely on our might and power alone. No nation is really secured without God's protection. Isaiah knew that in the later days, nations will put their trust in America for their protection instead of praying to God. This prophecy is for all nations including America, the modern Egypt.

Isa 31:1-3
Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help, who rely on horses, who trust in the multitude of their chariots and in the great strength of their horsemen, but do not look to the Holy One of Israel, or seek help from the LORD. 2 Yet he too is wise and can bring disaster; he does not take back his words. He will rise up against the house of the wicked, against those who help evildoers.
3 But the Egyptians are men and not God; their horses are flesh and not spirit. When the LORD stretches out his hand, he who helps will stumble, he who is helped will fall; both will perish together.

Those ancient weapons became symbols for modern armaments. That's why it should not surprise us when those nations who had seek America's help will not gain true victory. They will fall just the same, or in worse state than before.

Nations today are treating America like a god to run to in times of trouble. That is plain idolatry. God wanted all nations to seek Him first and we shall witness His complete deliverance. Also read Weapons or God?

The fall of America at the hands of the king of Babylon

The prophecy below is the first fall of America under a besieged American leader prior to the Great Tribulation. Only few months back prior to the fall of America, things happened so fast that three, then all nations of Europe fell one after another by the ruthless ruler from Iraq, the symbolic Assyrian King. Then Israel would fall next. The purpose is to break the pride of God's people. How can it be possible? The American military machine will be up against the father of all lies, against Satan living in a man, the wounded head of the seven-headed beast that lived again. No nation can stand against him.

Ezek 32:11-15
"'The sword of the king of Babylon will come against you. 12 I will cause your hordes to fall by the swords of mighty men — the most ruthless of all nations. They will shatter the pride of Egypt, and all her hordes will be overthrown. 13 I will destroy all her cattle from beside abundant waters no longer to be stirred by the foot of man or muddied by the hoofs of cattle. 14 Then I will let her waters settle and make her streams flow like oil, declares the Sovereign LORD. 15 When I make Egypt desolate and strip the land of everything in it, when I strike down all who live there, then they will know that I am the LORD.'

Moreover, the hand of the Lord will be against America in those days as prophesied by Isaiah (in parenthesis mine). They will have no chance to win that war.

Isa 19:1-4
See, the LORD rides on a swift cloud and is coming to Egypt. The idols of Egypt tremble before him, and the hearts of the Egyptians melt within them.
2 "I will stir up Egyptian against Egyptian — brother will fight against brother, neighbor against neighbor, city against city, kingdom (state) against kingdom. 3 The Egyptians will lose heart, and I will bring their plans to nothing; they will consult the idols and the spirits of the dead, the mediums and the spiritists. 4 I will hand the Egyptians over to the power of a cruel master, and a fierce king (Antichrist) will rule over them," declares the Lord, the LORD Almighty.

The symbolic Babylonian King shall also come from Iraq, the original Babylonian Empire of King Nebuchadnezzar. He was the same king who conquered ancient Egypt and subjected that nation under his rule. But according to biblical and historical accounts, he did not actually set his throne and rule directly on that land. However, in the last days, he will actually come, see, conquer, and set his throne in Egypt and rule over it. Then the Babylonian will become the dreaded Pharaoh of the last days. Throughout those terrible days, the persecuted people will seek God, and as the prophecy says, "then they will know that I am the LORD."

The fall of the Pharaoh under God's wrath

America will suffer her second and final downfall prior to the end of the world, prior to the Millennium. This will occur during the rule of the Antichrist or the dreaded last day Pharaoh. This prophecy is about God's demolition of the Antichrist:

Ezek 32:3-8
3 "'This is what the Sovereign LORD says:
"'With a great throng of people I will cast my net over you, and they will haul you up in my net. 4 I will throw you on the land and hurl you on the open field. I will let all the birds of the air settle on you and all the beasts of the earth gorge themselves on you. 5 I will spread your flesh on the mountains and fill the valleys with your remains. 6 I will drench the land with your flowing blood all the way to the mountains, and the ravines will be filled with your flesh. 7 When I snuff you out, I will cover the heavens and darken their stars; I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon will not give its light. 8 All the shining lights in the heavens I will darken over you; I will bring darkness over your land, declares the Sovereign LORD.

Now this prophecy brings us to the last days, just few years after the invasion of America by the Antichrist, as spoken of by the prophet Daniel. This is the Day of the Lord characterized by global darkness, days of clouds and smokes for the Lord will come by fire.

The Americans will finally find comfort in God's return. Isaiah has this to say about America in those days:

Isa 19:18-22
18 In that day five cities in Egypt will speak the language of Canaan and swear allegiance to the LORD Almighty. One of them will be called the City of Destruction.
19 In that day there will be an altar to the LORD in the heart of Egypt, and a monument to the LORD at its border. 20 It will be a sign and witness to the LORD Almighty in the land of Egypt. When they cry out to the LORD because of their oppressors, he will send them a savior and defender, and he will rescue them. 21 So the LORD will make himself known to the Egyptians, and in that day they will acknowledge the LORD. They will worship with sacrifices and grain offerings; they will make vows to the LORD and keep them. 22 The LORD will strike Egypt with a plague; he will strike them and heal them. They will turn to the LORD, and he will respond to their pleas and heal them.

Is it not the Hebrews who cried to the Lord for deliverance from the Egyptians? Is the above prophecy a reversal of fate between the Egyptians and the Hebrews? That the Egyptians will be crying to God for help instead? But we should understand that the modern day Egyptians are also Hebrews by blood being the descendants of Manasseh, a son of Joseph, the Hebrew and his wife Asenath, the Egyptian. That's is why, not only that they will have plagues but also healing and deliverance that the ancient Egyptians did not have. We should start to understand this mystery.

God will ultimately save America from the wrath of the Antichrist, the last days Pharaoh. America's own power and wealth will not be able to save them from the Pharaoh nor they can escape from him. During those days, with all their strength, wealth and any remaining power completely taken out from them, they will seek God in complete surrender. Yes, the people will finally cry out to the Lord for help and forgiveness. During those times, God will reveal Himself to His people and the ancient mysteries shall be known. America, upon knowing that they are also Israel, along with the other people that seek refuge in America will pray for deliverance from Egypt (U.S.A.). God will bring them to the new Promised Land, their real, original home. It will be similar to the times when the Hebrews cried out to the Lord when they were badly maltreated by the ancient Pharaoh. And then God called Moses to lead them out of Egypt but the Pharaoh will not let his captives go home until the tenth plague.

Isa 14:17
"the man who made the world a desert, who overthrew its cities and would not let his captives go home?"

So the mighty power of God will again be displayed both before His people and the enemies. The last days Great Exodus will happen—the long journey by foot to Jerusalem, the old City of God. Now that's the reason behind why tribulations must come. People must be brought low in order for God's power to work. For when we are weak, then we are strong. So the whole story is just a repeat of the past, the confirmation of the covenant. God has this to say further against the last day Pharaoh:

Ezek 32:9-10
9 I will trouble the hearts of many peoples when I bring about your destruction among the nations, among lands you have not known. 10 I will cause many peoples to be appalled at you, and their kings will shudder with horror because of you when I brandish my sword before them. On the day of your downfall each of them will tremble every moment for his life.

This is still God's vengeance against the nations and the Pharaoh and his hordes and even among the nations that he had not reached. Many nations will put their trust in the Antichrist, the counterfeit Messiah. His downfall will bring fear among those who had blindly believed him. Kings of both the living and the dead will be appalled at Antichrist's fall and death.

Isa 14:9-11
9 The grave below is all astir to meet you at your coming; it rouses the spirits of the departed to greet you — all those who were leaders in the world; it makes them rise from their thrones — all those who were kings over the nations. 10 They will all respond, they will say to you, "You also have become weak, as we are; you have become like us." 11 All your pomp has been brought down to the grave, along with the noise of your harps; maggots are spread out beneath you and worms cover you.

The prophet Isaiah has so much to say also about Egypt of the last days, in the Second Coming. Observe this prophecy by Isaiah:

Isa 19:11-15
11 The officials of Zoan are nothing but fools; the wise counselors of Pharaoh give senseless advice. How can you say to Pharaoh, "I am one of the wise men, a disciple of the ancient kings"?
12 Where are your wise men now? Let them show you and make known what the LORD Almighty has planned against Egypt. 13 The officials of Zoan have become fools, the leaders of Memphis are deceived; the cornerstones of her peoples have led Egypt astray. 14 The LORD has poured into them a spirit of dizziness; they make Egypt stagger in all that she does, as a drunkard staggers around in his vomit. 15 There is nothing Egypt can do — head or tail, palm branch or reed.

The U.S. is the virtual ruler of nations today. America is also the source of confidence of many nations. This is to fulfill the prophecies about  the modern day Egypt.

Egypt in the Millennium

When nations are getting established in the Millennium, the old American glory will be gone forever. The real Egyptians will return to their land of ancestry as prophesied below.

Ezek 29:13-16
13 "'Yet this is what the Sovereign LORD says: At the end of forty years I will gather the Egyptians from the nations where they were scattered. 14 I will bring them back from captivity and return them to Upper Egypt, the land of their ancestry. There they will be a lowly kingdom. 15 It will be the lowliest of kingdoms and will never again exalt itself above the other nations. I will make it so weak that it will never again rule over the nations. 16 Egypt will no longer be a source of confidence for the people of Israel but will be a reminder of their sin in turning to her for help. Then they will know that I am the Sovereign LORD.'"

The Egyptians who have endured the faith will not be identified with those who fell but will reign with the Lord for they are also God's people, the offspring of Joseph and Abraham. And so is Assyria whose ancient empire is also the modern Iraq, the capital city of which, the Antichrist will come from. All will be just one community once they become believers, one people before the Lord.

Isa 19:23-25
23 In that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria. The Assyrians will go to Egypt and the Egyptians to Assyria. The Egyptians and Assyrians will worship together. 24 In that day Israel will be the third, along with Egypt and Assyria, a blessing on the earth. 25 The LORD Almighty will bless them, saying, "Blessed be Egypt my people, Assyria my handiwork , and Israel my inheritance."

God had prepared a complex plan for many nations. That plan had been revealed to us in the Scriptures. Nothing will come to pass that was not foretold.

Amos 3:7
7 Surely the Sovereign LORD does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets.

The truth of American beginning, present and ending had been revealed for us in advance. It may surprise us but I would prefer that hopefully, it establishes our fear and faith in our God. For what can we gain in knowledge of the Truth if we don't respond to it? Let us believe and accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour.
